Manchin represents West Virginia as a Democrat, a state which voted for Trump in 2020 with 68.62% of its vote, where Biden only picked up 29.69%.
If he’s smart, he’ll ditch the Democrats and caucus with the Republicans. Manchin is up for re-election in 2024 and will likely lose his West Virginia Senate seat if he doesn’t switch parties. With the Senate split 50-50 and Biden approval collapsing, now is the time.
Manchin denies the rumor though.
Pretty dumb move by Biden, actually. Pushing COVID vaccines into pediatricians’ offices will just cause parents to avoid all childhood immunizations (including traditional ones) to avoid left-wing activist nurses who want to help Biden reach his COVID vaccination quotas, can’t read vaccine vial labels, and will give the wrong vaccine.
Maybe that’s what needs to happen, I don’t know.
