Biden approval on COVID is back down to 43%, one point above his lowest approval of 42%, which was right before he issued his vaccine mandate, a gamble which ran into heavy resistance and failed to raise his numbers.
More importantly though, the opposition to Biden on COVID is driven by those who strongly disapprove, which now sits at 35%, up from 32% when he issued his mandate.
Those who strongly approve of Biden on COVID are down to 22%, joining those who somewhat approve at 21%.
Those who aren’t sure and those who somewhat disapprove (well-mannered Republicans who need to develop a spine) haven’t budged this entire time.
Strong approval is turning into strong disapproval.
