Taliban captured Qalat, Zabul, the eighteenth provincial capital to fall.
The transfer of power was bloodless, no shots fired, a large number of police and government forces surrendered, over 100 vehicles.
Interesting side-note, the ANA covoy from Shinkay, Zabul surrendering after mediation by elders and being escorted by Taliban to Qalat, Zabul was one of the first videos I posted in this series, back in June. The Taliban left Qalat alone as a result until it now surrendered peacefully.
