The official Taliban account is accusing the Indian Air Force of being involved, I have no idea what that is all about, might be a play to force Pakistan to close their airspace to B-52 flyovers.
In any case, the Russians used this strategy to dislodge rebels from hospitals in Aleppo, Syria in 2015, and I recall the Democrats who wanted Assad to go being angry about it at the time.
