Businesses are telling you what you want to hear so you stop destroying them. Then they’ll divest from you. The wealthy didn’t become wealthy by leaving their capital at risk.
Politicians will stick around, because you’ll vote for them, but they too ultimately answer to the wealthy, who will have divested from you.
