Evelyn Farkas, Obama’s Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, confirms the following.
1. The Obama administration leaked classified material to congress and the press to undermine the incoming Trump administration.
2. The Trump administration was the target of surveillance collected and distributed.
3. The Obama administration wanted to hide their sources and methods from “President” Trump, undermining the Chain of Command, a seditious act.
4. The Obama administration was worried that not enough intelligence was leaking.
5. “That’s why you have the [illegal] leaking”.
I generally don’t get into the outlandish claims like “Obama was born in Kenya”, “Bush did 9/11”, and even true ones such as “B. Clinton lied about having sex with Lewinsky (who cares).”
But this one of “‘Trump’ ‘may’ ‘possibly’ have ‘links’ with ‘Russians'” just stopped being politics and became a criminal matter.
I guess everyone needs to be reminded that the President is the head of the executive branch and that all members of the defense department, the intelligence community, and so forth, report to him.
That remains true even if it were true that Russia leaked the DNC emails. Trump won with voters. He is the President.
Obama fired both General Stanley McChrystal and General David Petraeus for this very same offense. McChrystal disrespected the chain of command and Petraeus illegally leaked intelligence. There is nothing confusing about this offense.
At the very least, if no one else, Evelyn Farkas needs to go to prison for confirming what she confirmed about her actions.
George W. Bush didn’t undermine Obama when he became President.
