Went out to several grocery stores around the area today to gather some insight into the shortage situation. Never seen anything like this.
You don’t need toilet paper or a bidet. Human manure makes a great fertilizer for that vegetable garden you’re going to end up growing.
The west doesn’t believe in containing pandemics. There are too many places to go, and too many things to see.
Pick up some DayQuil / NyQuil, or equivalent, while you can. Don’t wait until you’re sick, only to find out that local pharmacies are sold out. You saw what happened with toilet paper. Be smart.
If everyone wore a medical mask as part of their daily routine, as they do in smarter countries, there would not be a need to cancel everything, shutting down the entire economy in the process.

Well, at least people finally get it. The next hurdle is getting them to disregard the dumb CDC / WHO recommendations about mask usage, and begin wearing masks every time they leave the house, like they do in Singapore and Hong Kong.
