Police said he made his way over a fence to a station parking lot before officers who saw him detained him.

I didn’t realize this the first time I saw it, but this was 77 year old retired St. Louis police captain David Dorn who was shot and killed while he tried to stop rioters from stealing a TV from his friend’s pawn shop. He was black.
