RSV is now resurging, cases higher than pre-COVID. They call it unusual, unseasonal, surprising, and baffling, but it’s only so if you’re a moron. Nope, it’s expected. It’s debt.
If public health officials were honest, which they’re not, they’ll publish data on which children hospitalized with COVID were also co-infected with RSV, which is much more likely to send them to the ER. I don’t expect them to be forthcoming with it.
If your child’s pediatrician says they’re baffled by this, you should probably find a new pediatrician.
RSV is worse for kids than COVID, though it’s never been an issue until the War on COVID began. Looks like the War on COVID is morphing into the War on Disease, should be splendid.
