Given the time, effort, and energy that we put into this election, I had great expectations, and personally consider this election a net loss, especially with the pathway to election reform at the state level ending, but looking at it more objectively, considering that we ended Roe v. Wade after 49 years, effectively taking away a woman’s federally protected right to kill her child through an abortion, a 50-50 stalemate in the Senate, as it was before, and the GOP on course to take the House, suggests that perhaps the GOP got off easy, and that this could have turned out much worse than it did.
