After the crossover where the placebo group was given the Pfizer vaccine, another 3 died in the Pfizer group and 2 died in the now vaccinated placebo group.
Investigators don’t consider a single death in the Pfizer group to be related to the vaccine, thus the final score is vaccine at 0 deaths vs. placebo at 16 deaths, proving the vaccine prevented deaths.
