CIA-backed NDS-03 worked alongside CIA-backed KPF to prevent the fall of Kandahar to the Taliban because the DOD-backed ANA in Kandahar had largely stood down.
CIA backed KPF (Khost Protection Force) is still in Kandahar city, alongside NDS-03.
