They’re still upset at Modi and India for letting Trump visit the Taj Mahal. No one exacts retribution like a scorned liberal.

Is allowing COVID to burn through India enough?

Will anything be enough?

Biden used the Defense Production Act, which Democrats criticized Trump for not using enough, to cut off the supply of vaccine production raw materials to India, putting India in a position where they were unable to produce enough vaccines for their 1.4 billion population.

They’ve finally raised the issue and Biden now says he’s looking into reversing parts of his embargo, but once again they’re letting Biden escape responsibility, this time for his role in Indian deaths.

COVID-19 Deaths / 1M population: US vs. Europe and...

COVID-19 Deaths / 1M population: US vs. Europe and Trump vs. Democrats vs. Republicans; Update 3.

California today confirmed there are enough votes to recall Gavin Newsom in a special election. Just as I did for Trump to determine his COVID performance, I wanted to see how Newsom fared relative to his peers. So here’s the 3rd update.

I do want to point out that I understand Newsom isn’t a conservative or a Republican, so I’m not comparing him to conservative leadership like in Texas or Florida, but to other liberal or Democrat leadership like in New York or Michigan, because that’s potentially the leadership we’d end up with were Newsom successfully replaced.

That all said, Newsom’s performance really was not that bad, all things considered. California is outperforming almost all of it’s liberal peers, including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Illinois, and Michigan. California has done better than the U.S. average and is right on par with the European Average.

California is also outperforming many of it’s liberal peers on new COVID cases, and is down to the pre-Floyd riots low.

I also understand there’s the issue of lockdowns, but despite all the noise about lockdowns, Newsom hasn’t really enforced much of it. For instance, the Huntington Beach MAGA protests went undisturbed. Yes, they cracked down on businesses, but other liberal Democrat states did the same, if not worse.

So overall, I think Newsom outperformed his liberal Democrat peers, and no, a Republican won’t win in California. This state belongs to communists.

Finally, though I understand that lessons that should be learned won’t be learned, a few things worth noticing as we unwind.

Sweden outperformed most U.S. states, the E.U. average, and California. Florida and Texas outperformed the U.S. average with much less economic destruction, and Cuomo still hasn’t returned his Emmy award for his stellar New York COVID performance.

That’s all.
